Ariana Grande Handles Awkward Donut-Licking Question on the VMAs Red Carpet Like a Pro

If you thought the world was done reminding Ariana Grande that licking donuts is a very, very bad thing to do, you thought WRONG, because Donutgate continued tonight at the 2016 MTV VMAs. Like, come on. Ariana knows she messed up! Everyone knows! Can't we move on?

But since we as a nation apparently cannot move on from the most important pastry moment in pop culture history, radio presenter Charlamagne tha God had to bring it up again tonight. During the VMAs pre-show on MTV, Charlamagne put Ari on the spot about donut-gate.

"Now, look, you can't go around here licking no pastries tonight. OK?"

Ariana wasn't too fazed. "Oh, OK. I'll keep it in mind."

Not like she has any more important things to worry about, like her performance tonight. No, really, it's fine.

But wait, the moment got even more awkward. Charlamagne continued, "And you're alone? Where the boo at?"

"Being supportive," she said.

When he laughed, Ariana schooled him: "It's OK to be alone even when you have a boo!"

PREACH. Ariana, tell him!
