We're Fans of This Bride's Edgy yet Romantic Style

From ARTIESE Fine Art Photographer... There's nothing more romantic than a garden ceremony in Florence and an al fresco reception dinner to follow. Amanda and Kevin's wedding was simply a dream. After having been together for 10 years and starting a family (they have a one and a half-year-old daughter together), there was no better way to celebrate than this elegant affair.The Bride and Groom chose Villa La Vedetta as their venue, a quiet hotel nestled in the hills of Florence. The Villa was absolutely breathtaking. The ceremony took place in the gardens, where La Rosa Canina Firenze showcased their beautiful work through two large flower urns that the Bride and Groom stood between. The aisle was covered with white and blush tone rose petals, which gave a very romantic vibe to the evening. The guests anxiously awaited the Bride's arrival as they held on to paper cones filled with rose petals to throw during the exit. A string quartet of all females from the renowned The Alma Project played beautiful music throughout the ceremony. The Groom walked in with his mom as the string quartet played "Your Song" by Elton John. The guests all rose as the Bride and her father entered while the string quartet played "Bittersweet Symphony" by the Verve, one of the Bride's favorite songs. The officiant of this ceremony was the Bride's uncle, somebody who is very near and dear to her heart. The ceremony script was designed and written by none other than the Bride and Groom themselves, making it extra special. After the hand written vows were spoken, the rings were exchanged, and the kiss was given, the Bride and Groom exited to "Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers as rose petals filled the air and smiles and tears were had by all.After a quick cocktail hour filled with music by the quartet, prosecco, and fantastic Italian hors d'oeuvres, it was time to move into the reception. The guests were seated on the terrace, which had an exceptional view of the city of Florence. One long table seated the 50 guests, with white flower arrangements and a lot of candles filling the centre of the table. The Bride and Groom sat in the middle of the table with lush green arrangements on the backs of their chairs. As the courses were served, speeches were said, tears were shed, and laughs were echoing. With a small intimate wedding such as this one, the speeches feel much more special, as everyone there has a close relationship with the Bride and Groom.As the sun was setting, the Bride and Groom cut their traditional Italian wedding cake, called a Millefeuille cake, and popped a bottle of champagne. The dancing commenced with a mix of 90s R&B and soul music. To finish off the night's festivities, an old fashioned gelato cart rolled in, serving the guests ice cream cones until the evening ended.
