APD identifies woman killed following US 290 crash

AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Friday, the Austin Police Department identified a woman who died following a single-vehicle crash March 12 off US 290.

APD said officers responded to the crash at approximately 3:40 a.m. in the 9400 block of East US 290 Highway service road.

Austin Police said the driver of the vehicle, 19-year-old Jennifer Guadalupe Manriquez-Ramirez, was taken to the hospital but later died on March 14.

According to APD, the incident was being investigated as Austin’s 14th fatal crash of 2024.

As of Friday, APD said the investigation was still pending.
