APD: 1 dead after shooting at apartment complex Tuesday
The Amarillo Police Department (APD) is seeking the community's help in gathering more information about a fatal shooting that took place at an Amarillo apartment complex Tuesday night.
Police said on Tuesday, May 14, at about 8:34 p.m., the police department received multiple calls about shots fired at the Axiom Apartments, located at 1550 Bell St.
When Amarillo officers arrived, they found Gerald Abdu-Daoud Henry, 46, with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his family has been notified.
No further information was yet available. The APD Homicide Unit is investigating this incident.
