New Yorkers might as well start counting sheep early Saturday night, since it will be raining cats and dogs as the clocks jump ahead.

Up to two inches will fall overnight into Sunday as the clocks “spring forward” by one hour for the seasonal start of daylight saving time, which officially starts at 2 a.m.

While parts of northern New York and New England could see up to six inches of snow this weekend, it’s likely going to be another wet weekend for the Big Apple and the rest of the Metro area.

“There could be a very slim chance that we see some flakes here,” Fox Weather meteorologist Cody Braud told The Post.

A coastal flood advisory is in effect through noon on Sunday for most of the waterfront areas around the city, the Jersey Shore and the south shore of Long Island, as the downpour coincides with a full moon, which pulls the tides in.

A stepped-up flood watch is in place for parts of northern Queens, Long Island, Westchester, the Bronx and Fairfield counties.

The rain will taper down by Sunday afternoon, but windy conditions are forecast from Sunday into Monday with gusts near 45 mph possible.

Some parts of the Northeast could see 8 inches or more of rain during the several different storm systems moving through the region.

Above-average temperatures will roll in for the work week, with highs around 60 degrees in the city.
