Ann Romney Says No Veep Decision Made Yet

Ann Romney told ABC News on Wednesday that her husband has not yet chosen his running mate, despite reports to the contrary.

"We are certainly talking a lot. This last week, this last weekend, there was a lot of discussion," the wife of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney told ABC’s Robin Roberts in an interview slated to air Thursday on Good Morning America. "There was a lot of talk. We're not quite there yet. And we're going to be there soon."

Ann Romney said she had no knowledge of who the potential vice president could be or when the pick would be announced.

"I'll wait and see, too, what Mitt is going to decide," she said. "I have no knowledge of what, when, or who is going to be coming down the road. So, I'll stay tuned with you."

The Republican nominee plans tp leave the country next week for stops in London and Israel. New York's Daily News and The Wall Street Journal both reported on  Wednesday that the vice presidential selection will most likely come after the Aug. 12 conclusion of the Summer Olympics. Romney is attending the opening ceremonies in London.

He is expected to make his pick before the Republican National Convention begins Aug. 27 in Tampa.
