A recent arrival at Heathrow airport is leading us to believe that there is a major celebrity on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's guest list that we may have missed. Angelina Jolie recently landed at London's Heathrow airport–with her children Shiloh and Knox Jolie-Pitt, and a trunk full of Louis Vuitton luggage.

The actress, who received the title of honorary dame from Queen Elizabeth II this past October, has connections to the Royal Family that are less obvious–but well worth an invitation, considering that her human rights work aligns seamlessly with Meghan and Harry's philanthropic passions. According to TIME, Jolie received the "Insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George” for her work fighting against the use of sexual violence as a weapon during periods of war."

The actress is also passionate about conservation, another focus of the Queen's. Writer Omid Scobie, who penned a report exclusively for BAZAAR.com, tells us that Jolie and the Queen plan to join forces on one of Her Majesty's most ambitious projects, dubbed the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy (QCC), aimed at building a conservation network around the world. The joint project was the reason for Jolie's travels to Namibia last summer with her children, which was featured in the documentary The Queen's Green Planet.

It was when Jolie traveled to Namibia with her six children that she was photographed for her November 2017 Harper's BAZAAR cover, which she used to share her thoughts on women's rights and our global responsibility for conservation. Not so surprisingly, there are even more royal connections to note; Angelina Jolie wore a suit by Ralph & Russo, the designers most favored to be designing Meghan Markle's wedding gown, to meet the Queen for her honor. Additionally, Alexi Lubomirski, who photographed Jolie for Harper's BAZAAR while she was in Namibia for her work on the QCC, will be the official wedding photographer at Harry and Meghan's wedding. Lubomirski also photographed the couple's engagement photographs earlier this year.

Jolie has been active in the conservation efforts in Namibia since her first visit in 2003, and was approached by the Namibian government on behalf of the Queen to participate in her environmental initiative. Not so coincidentally, Harry and Meghan are planning to honeymoon in Namibia. The two will depart for Africa as soon as they've attended their royal duties as newlyweds in the days following their wedding.

While VIP names like Serena Williams and Priyanka Chopra came up consistently when the invitations to the royal wedding were sent out, Jolie's name was never mentioned. However, given her ties to the Queen, her new title as a dame and her connection to the charities Harry and Meghan hold dear, her arrival in London seems fitting. We're expecting to see her (looking absolutely incredible) and potentially two of her six children in the pews and at the receptions to follow this Saturday, May 19.
