AMVETS Post 607 to commemorate Memorial Day

May 25—VALDOSTA — The American Veterans (AMVETS) Post 607 invites the public to join its members on Monday, May 27, for a Memorial Day Ceremony.

"On this day, we join Americans all across the country as we salute all veterans that died in battle serving in American wars," the post said in a press release.

The Memorial Day Ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. at the AMVETS Post located at 728 E. Hill Ave., Valdosta. Keynote speaker will be the Valdosta City Manager and the United States Air Force Retired Chief Master Sgt. Richard Hardy. Valdosta High School's Junior ROTC Cadets will also participate in the program.
