American Legion to host Memorial Day remenbrance

May 24—A Memorial Day ceremony is scheduled at 10 a.m. Monday at the Cleburne Cemetery, 405 Waters St.

U.S. Army Veteran Bryan Coleman, a Vietnam veteran will deliver the keynote address. Among other duties, Coleman served as the past American Legion Department Judge Advocate.

In addition to placing a wreath on the grave of a veteran, organizers will pay tribute to all veterans including those interred at the Cleburne Cemetery.

All are welcome to the ceremony, which is organized through partnership between Cleburne's American Legion Post 50, the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce and the city of Cleburne.
