Alexis Bledel picks *another* Stars Hollow mayor during a game of “Would You Rather”
Now that we’ve binged Gilmore Girls: A Day in the Life on Netflix, we have SO many questions we need the answers to. Luckily, Alexis Bledel (aka Rory Gilmore) stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and spoke with Gilmore Girls superfan Fallon about the show and her favorite characters (Caesar, Kirk, Babette, and Miss Patty for those wondering).
As with Scott Patterson (Luke), Liza Weil (Paris), and Sean Gunn (Kirk), Fallon also got Bledel to play a game of Would You Rather: Gilmore Girls edition.

As with the Gilmore Girls trio who visited The Tonight Show last week, Bledel was asked whether she would rather try to win an argument with Paris Geller or Emily Gilmore. The fearless Rory Gilmore quickly answered that she would argue with Paris Geller, which makes sense seeing as her character was never afraid to go toe-to-toe with Paris.
Bledel was also tasked with deciding whether she would rather live in a Stars Hollow where Kirk is mayor or where he runs Luke’s Diner. The longtime Stars Hollow resident was optimistic when it came to Kirk’s abilities as mayor, believing that he could be very innovative. While he would definitely be innovative, we’re not sure he’d be the most successful at getting the residents of Stars Hollow to listen to him. Regardless, Luke can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Rory backs him as the proprietor of Luke’s Diner.
One of the juiciest questions Bledel was asked was whether she’d rather be in a room with Doyle and Paris fighting or Lorelai and Emily fighting. While we’d definitely pick a third option in having a scotch with Richard, Bledel was able to come to a decision, saying that she’d rather be in a room with Doyle and Paris fighting, as it wouldn’t be as emotional as witnessing Lorelai and Emily fighting.
We have to hand it to Bledel, we don’t know if we could have answered those tough questions with the speed that she did. Then again, she’s so well-tuned to the Gilmore Girls universe that we’re sure this was no big deal to her.
