The film adaptation of the feminist classic, The Handmaid’s Tale, premiered at the Tribeca Festival April 21, and received rave reviews from screening attendees. Celebs Yvonne Strahovski, Ann Dowd, Samira Wiley, Elisabeth Moss, and Alexis Bledel shined on the screen, and even brighter on the red carpet. Oh, yes. The fashion at the premiere was everything. Get a bunch of fashionistas in one room, and you can expect magic. But, our favorite look of the day, you ask? It would undoubtedly have to be Alexis Bledel in her scarlet, bouquet of rose-esque dress.

We’re totally used to the Gilmore Girl lighting up the scene in the cutest of ‘fits. But, this elegant number is our favorite look of hers to date. Alexis looked very polished and chic in the long sleeved, over-the-knee frock. And her wine colored pumps matched perfectly. Might we add how much we’re suckers for a simple makeup look? Yeah, she was classic from head to toe.

Someone call the florist and tell them that we found their missing roses!

Just check out all of this fabulous detail! We’re digging this lace pattern. The entire dress is hand-stitched to perfection.

But, you don’t get the total effect until you see the entire ensemble together. She totally slayed this look.

Very simple, very chic and very classic. Those are the adjectives we’d use to describe Alexis Bledel’s red carpet win.

We’d love to chuck up her latest fashion domination to being in the company of other fashion it-girls. But the truth is, Alexis seriously never disappoints. She’s always choosing outfits that complement her so well. Alexis isn’t much of a risk taker, but that’s what we love about her. She knows what works, and delivers perfect 10’s, each and every time.

Oh, and confidence? She’s got that too. There’s just something about displaying self-assurance that’s so sexy to us. And Alexis totally nails this.
