Alexandria police investigating stabbing

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — The Alexandria Police Department (APD) said it was investigating a stabbing Thursday night.

APD said a man stabbed a woman in the 400 block of Mayflower Court. He then ran away.

The woman was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

APD said the man and the woman were “familiar” to each other.
