Alexandria police investigating shots fired near Metro station

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — The Alexandria Police Department (APD) said it was investigating a report of shots being fired near the Braddock Road Metro Station Wednesday night.

Metro invites Autism Transit Project members in Springfield

The shots were fired in the 700 block of N. Fayette St. around 8:30 p.m. in the Andrew Atkins neighborhood and the Braddock Road Metro Station.

APD said it has not found any victims or shooting suspects.

Police shut down roads around the Andrew Adkins community to investigate.
