If you want to jazz up your G&T this festive season, there's a new pink gin on its way and it's under £20.

After rose-hued drinks had a moment earlier this year, Aldi is launching Gin Lane 1751 Victoria Pink Gin in stores and online this November. It's mixed from eight botanicals, including juniper, coriander, Sicilian lemon, Seville orange and star anise, and it's said to have a sweet and dry flavour thanks to a traditional Victorian recipe.

As for the colour? It gets its pink shade from the addition of Angostura bitters, rather than any artificial flavourings.

The pink spirit, which will retail for £19.99, is part of a line-up of eight gins on offer at the supermarket this autumn. It features the award-winning Oliver Cromwell London Dry Gin, which picked up a gold medal at the 2017 IWSC Awards, as well as three other new varieties.

Boyle's Premium Gin is new to Aldi, but scooped the 'Overall Best Gin' at the Irish Whiskey Awards in 2016. La Feluriste French Gin, which will also arrive in November, includes 17 different botanicals and spices while the Needle Blackforest Gin is designed to be served on the rocks.

Aldi's plum and cherry-flavoured sloe gin, a seasonal favourite, will also be making a comeback in early October.

Already planning your Christmas shopping? Selected gins will be available in Aldi stores from 1st October, with the new products, including the Gin Lane 1751 Victoria Pink Gin, launching from 14th November.
