Albuquerque city councilors, Woodworkers Association build doghouses for program

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Two Albuquerque city councilors and a local organization lent a hand to Animal Welfare’s Community Doghouse program. Councilors Tammy Fiebelkorn and Dan Champion each provided $1,500 from their constituent fund to build 30 doghouses for those in need.

Albuquerque Public Schools will offer both art and music at elementary schools

The Albuquerque Woodworkers Association used wafer board to build them at a lower cost. Animal Welfare says the program has distributed 278 doghouses since October 2022.
