Addison felon arrested on illegal weapons charges

ADDISON, N.Y. (WETM) — An Addison man was arrested on Friday on several felony charges after an investigation into him having weapons in his home.

According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, 29-year-old Tyler L. Mack was arrested on Friday, April 19, after an investigation into his unlawful possession of weapons.

Police say that Mack had shotguns, a rifle, a handgun, and Chuka sticks inside his home. Police add that Mack is a convicted felon currently on New York State Parole.

Mack was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a class D felony, criminal possession of a firearm, a class E felony, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.

Police say that Mack was processed in court before being taken to jail.
