Lebanon Police incident cleared after landlord, tenant dispute

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) — A police incident in Lebanon has been resolved and area roads have reopened.

Police said at 2:27 p.m. that they were on the scene of an incident in the area of 9th Street and Chestnut Street in Lebanon City on Tuesday afternoon.

Lebanon Mayor Sherry Capello tells abc27 there’s a landlord/tenant dispute where threats were made and there was a report of a gun involved.

Several nearby roads were closed to both pedestrian and vehicular traffic, but have now reopened. Capello says the roads were closed out of an abundance of caution.

Police say this was not a “hostage situation” and the general public was not in danger.

This is a developing story and abc27 will have more information as it becomes available.
