Heuermann has been holed up in jail ever since his arrest last July over the slayings of four women whose bodies were found buried close to each other on a remote stretch of Gilgo Beach back in 2010.

A sunglass-clad Ellerup, who filed for divorce just days after his arrest, refused to comment when asked why she’d fronted up to court for the hearing.

Her appearance comes just weeks after she insisted her hubby of 27 years was “not capable” of carrying out the four murders and that she was giving him “the benefit of the doubt.”

“I will listen to all of the evidence and withhold judgment until the end of trial,” Ellerup said in a statement issued by her lawyers.

“Nobody deserves to die in that manner,” she continued, adding that she extends her “heartfelt sympathies” to the slain women — all of whom were sex workers.

Heuermann was charged last July with the brutal murders of Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman and Amber Costello.

He was also indicted in January of this year for the slaying of Maureen Brainard-Barnes.

Prosecutors have alleged his DNA from a discarded pizza, as well as well burner phone evidence, tied him to the decades-old slayings.

He has pleaded not guilty to murdering the women – now known as the “Gilgo Four.”
