Abilene orthodontist claims innocence after bonding out of Taylor County Jail on felony Sexual Assault accusation

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – An Abilene orthodontist was accused of 2nd degree felony Sexual Assault and booked into the Taylor County Jail on Tuesday. However, a statement from his lawyer claims innocence.

Dr. Victor Lee of Lee Orthodontics was booked into the Taylor County Jail and released on a $25,000 bond on Tuesday in connection to a November 2016 accusation of Sexual Assault.

Fort Worth criminal justice attorney, Sellers Law Firm, PC issued the following statement independently:

“Lee Orthodontics learned today of Dr. Lee’s arrest on a fake charge. This entire 2016 accusation
has been litigated, the night in question has been litigated, and this woman’s credibility has
been litigated. A jury heard it all and acquitted Dr. Lee in under 30 minutes. We are confident
the same will happen here—if it gets there. Despite continued abuses of power by the Taylor
County District Attorney’s Office and disgruntled ex-girlfriend, Lee Orthodontics continues to
provide the quality care it has for the past 17 years serving the Big Country.”

According to Taylor County Sheriff’s Office records, Dr. Lee has been booked into the jail at least four times since 2017 on various charges, with the latest being 2nd degree felony Sexual Assault.

Lee Orthodontics has also posted this statement from Dr. Lee’s attorney on its Facebook page.
