As part of TSU’s Distinguished High School Partners program, the university entered an agreement with Abilene ISD in March, accepting its top 50% of graduates. Qualifying students’ application fees will also be waived as part of this program.

“Abilene ISD is proud to team with Tarleton State University in their Distinguished High School Partners program,” said Dr. James Largent, Abilene ISD Interim Superintendent. “This agreement will afford our students options when choosing their path after high school, and the attached scholarship dollars will benefit students and parents alike as they navigate the best options for their future.”

Additionally, Abilene ISD spoke about a scholarship program students may look into as they apply to TSU.
