Abilene Gives Preview: Abilene Back The Badge Foundation

The Abilene Back the Badge Foundation, formally known as Abilene Police Foundation, merged in December of 2023 to extend support and resources to all local law enforcements including, Abilene Police Department, Abilene Fire Department, and the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office.

Abilene Back the Badge Foundation has a deep commitment to support our law enforcement officers and their families. Their mission is to provide resources, financial assistance, and a sense of community to those who serve and protect our communities. Back the Badge aims to honor the sacrifices made by law enforcement officers and ensure their well-being both on and off duty.

  • $25- Your donation helps fund uniforms for our Honor Guard.

  • $50- Your donation will help fund medical kits for the K9’s.

  • $100- Help fund new equipment & machines for all departments training facilities

  • $1,000- Provide relief to those in uniform suffering from medical bills/debt.

Be sure to join us for Abilene Gives Tuesday, May 7th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at The T&P Depot at 1101 N. 1st Street. There will be free hot dogs and Bahama Bucks available while supplies last. We will have music, storybook characters as well as free arts and crafts available for the kids.
