Former President Donald Trump won the Iowa Republican caucuses by a record-breaking 30 points over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. “It would be so nice if we could come together and straighten out the world,” Trump said to supporters in his victory speech. [Yahoo News]
🌍 Houthi missile strike
A ballistic missile from a Houthi-controlled part of Yemen struck a U.S.-owned container ship. The attack comes in response to U.S. and U.K. airstrikes on 60 sites in the area. [Time]

About 150 million Americans endured wind-chill warnings or cold advisories as temperatures dropped to as much as 40 degrees below normal yesterday, leading to nine deaths, canceled and grounded flights, and school closures. [USA Today]

🩺 Measles warning
Virginia health officials warn that recent travelers out of Washington, D.C.’s two major airports could potentially have been exposed to measles. They said passengers should look for symptoms like a fever and rashes through Jan. 25. [CBS News]
