86-Year-Old Woman Gets Purse Stolen, Gives Best Interview Ever
Word to the wise: do not mess with Bernice Starnes. After having her purse snatched from her wheelchair, the 86-year-old Bronx resident had some WORDS for her assailant.
"She wanted to hurt me. And the bitch don't even know me," she told PIX11 reporter Ayana Harry.
When Harry suggests that some of her words sound sound "harsh," Bernice fires back, "Well, so what? What she did to me was even worse! I'm supposed to feel sorry for that bitch? I don't."
The criminal, Adrienne Terry, was captured on surveillance video stealing the purse then tossing it out in the garbage. Within 48 hours, she was caught and charged at the Bronx Criminal Court with grand larceny and petty larceny.
