85,000+ pounds of sliced ham sold in 8 states, including Pennsylvania recalled

(WHTM) — Approximately 85,984 pounds of ready-to-eat sliced prosciutto ham have been recalled by the New Jersey-based company ConSup North America Inc.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the ham was produced in Germany without the benefit of equivalent inspection.

According to the department the recall affects 5.29-oz. plastic packages containing “Stockmeyer PROSCIUTTO Product of GERMANY.” The lot codes included in the recall are 09118-3A, 09118-3B, 09120-3A, 09120-3B, 13133-3A, 13133-3B, 13104-3A, 13104-3B, 13105-3A, 13105-3B, 13109-3A and 13109-3B

The recalled ham also lists the following “BEST BEFORE:” dates: 4/28/2024, 5/26/2024, 7/7/2024, 8/4/2024, 8/11/2024 and 10/7/2024.

In addition to Pennsylvania, the recalled ham was also shipped to retailers in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.

According to the department, there have been no reports of adverse reactions to the recalled products to date.
