8-mile back-up on I-81 in Augusta County now cleared

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – VDOT reports the 8-mile back-up on I-81 in Augusta County has been cleared.

Vehicle crash causing 5-mile backup on I-81N in Roanoke County now cleared

All lanes of traffic are now reopened.

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation says there is currently a vehicle accident on Interstate 81 near mile marker 234 in Augusta County.

Traffic is currently backed up around 8 miles. Further details are limited; however, lane closures can be expected. Drivers will encounter delays until further notice.
