7 hurt in two-car crash in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Multiple people were hurt in a two-car crash in Montgomery County on Sunday afternoon.

Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) officers responded to the crash in the area of Laytonsville Road and Hawkins Creamery Road just before 1:40 p.m.

One of the two cars involved was a 15-passenger van.

Police: Man arrested in connection to fatal stabbing near Audi Field

One person had been trapped in the crash, though it was not clear whether they were in the van.

Seven people were taken to hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
