1.The Tesla Key is in the shape of Tesla Car and have interesting functions.

2.Tesla was founded by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning and both of them are not with Tesla now.

3.Elon planned to name the first 4 cars as Model S, Model E, Model X and Model Y.
All the 4 models could be collectively called as SEXY. Ford already have a trade mark on model E and hence Elon had to change the plan from Model E to Model 3 which is kind of reverse of letter E. An early brochure from Tesla below

In a blog Elon offered all the patents by Tesla will be open to OEM’s to encourage electric vehicles . Below is the image of ‘The nouveau Tesla Patent wall’ welcoming all OEMs to use the patents for electric vehicles.

5.Tesla’s Chinese website domain name was http://Tousule.cn
and was based on the Chinese pronunciation of Tesla. Also “tesla.cn” was already registered by a firm in Guangzhou and was a blank page. Later Tesla bought the domain name and hosted the products.
