52-year-old paramedic reported missing in Marion County

MARION, S.C. (WBTW) — Marion County authorities have asked for the public’s help to find a missing paramedic.

Phonesia Machado, 52, was last seen on Tuesday at her home on Wildwood Loop in Marion, deputies said. She is 5-foot-2 and weighs about 140 pounds.

Machado is believed to be driving a white BMW DX7C with the South Carolina license plate EA1523.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said Machado is employed with Florence County EMS and also works part-time with Marion County EMS.
