If you already spend most of your weekends digging through the shelves at HomeGoods, get ready to lose even more of your weekends: The chain is opening up a series of sister stores called Homesense, and there are even more goodies to choose from. The chain, which opened up its second U.S. store on Sept. 7 in East Hanover, New Jersey, promises a more curated selection of home décor, gifts, and accessories than the freewheeling HomeGoods.

But Homesense didn't ignore the most underrated part of HomeGoods: the food. HomeSense offers a full section for food lovers that it calls the "Entertaining Marketplace." There, you can find all the kitchen supplies you need, plus food that looks way fancier than its price tag. Though just like HomeGoods, the inventory will constantly change at Homesense depending on when and where you shop.

Here's what food lovers can find at Homesense, which will open two more stores in Massachusetts and New Jersey this year.

1. It's A Baker's Paradise.

During a media preview of the East Hanover store, there were aisles full of baking dishes of all shapes and sizes, plus measuring cups, whisks, rolling pins, spatulas, and other baking gadgets. Plus, many of them came in cute pastel or rainbow colors to make your finished product even more Pinterest-worthy.

2. Hit Up The Pasta Section First.

The East Hanover location had a section specifically dedicated to Italian food, and that naturally means a ton of pasta, plus sauces and other toppings. It makes sense that Homesense would stock lots of pasta, as it's a dry good that can last a while on shelves. And though the price tag is higher than your typical generic grocery-store brand, it's still good compared to the fancier selection at stores like Whole Foods.

3. You Can Find Desserts And Coffees You Won't Get Anywhere Else.

As part of the continuing Italy theme, Homesense had a special display of Italian coffees, plus biscotti and other desserts imported from Italy. And though every store likely won't have the same displays all the time, make sure to watch for treats from other countries.

4. This Section's Perfect For "Thinking Of You" Gifts.

Whether you're looking for a housewarming gift or just a new take on your breakfast routine, there are several shelves full of jams and spreads in glass jars ready for you to take home. That section also includes honey, olive oil, fruit snacks, and even more cookies.

5. Don't Check Out Without Checking These Out.

The checkout line at Homesense has tons of cute impulse buys, from seasonal decorations to wall art to knick-knacks. But when you get to the actual register, the most dangerous part arrives: the candy. The sweets looks tasty, and many also come in in cute, vintage packaging that will make you want to Instagram them, then devour them.
