Whether you’re up for a fun-filled Easter egg hunt with the kids or a cozy brunch date with a loved one or group of friends, there are plenty of events and activities across San Diego for everyone of all ages to enjoy this weekend.

Take a photo with the Easter Bunny at Fashion Valley

Dress your kids in their springtime best for a fun photo session with the Easter Bunny! The photo opportunity will be available at Fashion Valley, located at 7007 Friars Rd., from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. all week until Saturday.

Do Easter activities at The Seabird Ocean Beach Resort & Spa

Venture up to Oceanside for the weekend and get the whole family involved in hours of friendly competition. On Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., The Seabird Ocean Beach Resort & Spa will host some Easter-themed craft sessions, including the chance to build your own stuffed bunny, with an egg hunt to follow from 10 a.m. to noon. Each participant will get an Easter basket, while supplies last.

Revel in spring at Belmont in Bloom

Belmont Park’s most colorful springtime event starts Saturday and ends May 27, complete with floral arrangements, stunning photo opportunities and tasty treats for everyone to enjoy. Plus, visit the Belmont Park Beach House at 3125 Ocean Front Walk on Easter Sunday for a gourmet all-you-can-eat brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Reserve your spot for an Easter meal

Aside from the Beach House, there are several restaurants around San Diego where you can celebrate Easter with good food and good company! George’s at the Cove in La Jolla is serving a special Easter brunch menu on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. Reservations are encouraged.

Firefly Eatery & Bar on Mission Bay is also celebrating Easter with a brunch, live entertainment and an Easter egg hunt for the kids. The brunches take place at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., with live music from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can purchase tickets here.

There will also be an array of Easter activities this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Loews Coronado Bay. The hotel will host a brunch overlooking the bay and the Coronado Bridge, plus an egg hunt with a visit from the Easter Bunny and crafts. Reserve your spot here.

If you prefer dinner over brunch, head over to the Prado restaurant at Balboa Park. It’s offering a preset dinner menu with three courses at $59.95 per person. Reservations are limited on Easter Sunday, so grab a table while you can!

Make flower crowns at The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch

The iconic ranunculus at The Flower Fields in Carlsbad are bursting with color this spring, making them a perfect backdrop for your Easter photos this weekend. The seasonal attraction opened earlier this month and is expected to stay open until early May. Learn how to make flower crowns and body flower art during a workshop this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Admission to The Flower Fields is included with the tickets for the flower crown workshop.
