5 ducklings saved from storm drain

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– Meridian Township Fire Department saved five baby ducks from a storm drain on Saturday.

“Our personnel are ready to protect and preserve local life and property, including the lives of ducklings. Thank you to Cannonball Pools of Okemos for allowing us to use their equipment in order to retrieve the ducklings,” said in a Facebook post.

All five ducklings were saved by Captain Rommeck and Firefighter Haviland and returned to their mother.
