420 is Saturday. Here's how to score food deals at Wingstop, Cheba Hut and more

4/20, the unofficial holiday celebrated by marijuana smokers across the globe, lands on Saturday.

Phoenix was voted the “most passionate pot city” in a 2024 study. Since recreational cannabis consumption for adults was legalized in Arizona in 2020, marijuana has become even more popular in the state.

Several food joints are rolling out deals for the day, weekend or even month in honor of 4/20, which is a special palindrome date this year.

If you're planning to light up a joint for 4/20 this year, here’s where you can hit the munchie sweet spot and snag some smoking deals.

Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings customers can get six free wings when they use the promo code “GOWINGS” until April 30. A minimum of $10 must be spent before taxes for this online deal to apply.

BurgerFi

BurgerFi will offer a dine-in combo of four orders of five Jumbo Chicken Wings for $20 on Saturday. The deal must be mentioned at the register; only one use is available per order.

Cheba Hut

All Arizona Cheba Hut locations will sell a $4.20 “Nug,” their name for a 4-inch sub sandwich, served on a collectible frisbee.

The Tempe location will host vendors from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and have additional events throughout the day, including a “mystery drop” at 4 p.m. and an oregano rolling contest at 2 p.m.

Del Taco

The chain taco joint ensures customers will leave in a “taco daze,” offering eight snack tacos for $4.20 and no delivery fees on orders of at least $15 from Friday through Sunday.

Dunkin’

Dunkin’ is celebrating National Cold Brew Day on Saturday, April 20, by offering rewards members a free medium cold brew with a purchase through the donut shop’s app on Saturday.

Fatburger

Fatburger is offering a free shake in addition to any order placed online for the month of April. On Saturday, customers can get an original Fatburger for $4.20 when ordered online through the burger joint’s website only.

Gopuff offers deal on Ben & Jerry’s

You can order any Ben & Jerry’s pint for $4.20 on Saturday. Gopuff FAM subscribers can grab a pint of Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked ice cream for $1 at 4:20 p.m.

Ike’s Love and Sandwiches

Ike's Love and Sandwich is offering its THC (turkey, honey and Flaming Hot Cheeto) sandwich until the end of May. On 4/20, rewards members can get an additional $4.20 off of their THC sandwich, according to QSR Magazine. This special is a partnership between Ike’s and Weedmaps.

Insomnia Cookies

Cookie fans can grab a classic cookie with any $5 purchase through Sunday. The deal is available in-store, online and in-app. To score the deal, customers need to show they have the app or bring in canned, packaged or sealed food to donate to a food bank.

Additionally, customers can get $4.20 off of cookie 12-packs using the promo code “HAPPY420.” The deal is eligible through Sunday.

Jimmy John’s

The sandwich joint will offer a “Deliciously Dope Dime Bag” from Tuesday through Sunday. It will be available for online order only with the promo code “DIMEBAG.” The snack sack, including a ham and provolone sandwich, fudge brownie and a bag of chips, costs $10, according to USA TODAY.

Kentucky Fried Chicken

Customers can snag a free 10-piece of “Saucy Nuggets” with an online or in-app order of $10 or more.

Popeye’s

Popeye’s will have a “Munchies Menu” available on Saturday. It will feature various $4.20 chicken sandwich deals.

Smashburger

Customers can get four single burgers for $20 on Saturday in-store, in-app or online.

Smoothie King

Customers get 420 points when ordering on 4/20 if they are a rewards member and order through the app.

Twin Peaks

Customers can get a free appetizer with any purchase, including mozzarella cheese bites, fried pickles or chips and queso. The deal is available on Saturday.

Wienerschnitzel

Wienerschnitzel is offering a free chocolate brownie shake in-store, online or through their app. For online purchases, use code “MUNCHIES.” Customers will have to pay sales tax. This deal is only available on Saturday.

Wingstop

Wingstop will feature a “Hot Box,” including chicken slathered in their limited-time “T.H.C” (the Hot Chili) blend, through Sunday. Customers can choose from a chicken sandwich, boneless wings, three-piece tenders or the eight-piece classic, along with a 20-ounce beverage and side of ranch. The deal can be found online or in-app.

White Castle

Craver Nation loyalty members can get an Impossible Slider buy-one, get-one-free through the app on Saturday.
