4 Pender County stores cited for selling alcohol to underage customers
Four Pender County stores have been cited for selling alcohol to underage customers.
The Pender County Sheriff's Office Vice and Narcotics Unit conducted a compliance check on Tuesday at 10 convenience stores throughout the county, according to a news release from the Pender County Sheriff's Office.
The following stores were cited for underage alcohol sales:
Hampstead Country Store
14565 U.S. 17, Hampstead
R P Quick Stop
4800 N.C. 133, Rocky Point
Donnie's Mini Mart
3381 U.S. 117 South, Burgaw
Browns Mini Mart
201 U.S. 117 South, Burgaw
Reports of the compliance checks will be forwarded from the Sheriff's Office to the N.C. Alcohol Law Enforcement for further investigation related to ABC violations, according to the release.
