3 people hurt in Slippery Rock Township crash

Three people were hurt in a crash in Slippery Rock Township on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Lawrence County 911, the crash happened on Route 422 just before 1:40 p.m.

Route 422 was closed between Old 422 Road and Fox Road.

Three cars were involved in the crash. State police said two drivers and one passenger were taken to local hospitals. The third driver was not hurt.

State police are handling the investigation.
