3-vehicle crash in Escambia County leaves Milton man seriously injured: FHP

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A Milton man is seriously injured after a three-vehicle crash with a rollover in Escambia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP troopers responded to the crash, which took place Thursday, May 16, at approximately 6:24 a.m. on State Road 291 (North Davis Highway) and Campus Drive.

Three vehicles were involved in the incident, according to crash reports: a white Ford truck, a white Cadillac sedan, and a blue Kia sedan.

Crash reports indicate that the Ford truck, driven by a 33-year-old man from Pace, was driving south on Davis Highway approaching Campus Drive.

The truck reportedly collided with a white sedan, driven by a 63-year-old Milton man, stopped for a red light.

The impact caused the truck to roll over and push the Cadillac into the intersection.

In the intersection, a blue Kia sedan, driven by a 36-year-old Pensacola woman, turning north onto Davis Highway from Campus Drive collided with the Cadillac, according to reports.

Both the driver of the truck and the driver of the Cadillac were injured in the crash.

The driver of the truck was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the driver of the Cadillac was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The Kia driver was uninjured, according to reports.

The report said the truck driver was cited for careless driving, and the Kia driver was cited for driving with a suspended/revoked license.
