3 seriously injured in scaffolding collapse in Mint Hill: Medic

MINT HILL, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Three people are hospitalized with serious injuries following a scaffolding collapse Wednesday in Mint Hill, authorities said.

The accident happened Wednesday afternoon, May 22, in the 4500 block of Morris Park Drive.

According to Medic, one person was transported to Novant Presbyterian with life-threatening injuries and two others have been taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

No word on exactly how the accident occurred at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
