3 robbers carjacked rideshare driver in the Bronx: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — Three men robbed and carjacked a rideshare driver in the Bronx last month, police said Saturday.

The suspects threatened the driver with a gun before stealing his cash, cellphone, and car near University and West Tremont avenues around 2:30 a.m. on March 29, according to the NYPD. The masked robbers then took off in the victim’s vehicle, according to police and a video.

The 40-year-old victim suffered minor eye injuries and refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

There have been no arrests. The NYPD released a photo of one of the suspects without a facemask.
