3 men charged with child sexual exploitation in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Three men accused of uploading child sexual abuse material online were taken into custody in Warren County by special agents assigned to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s (TBI) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.

The TBI said it received tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) about three people uploading child sexual abuse material on platforms like Dropbox and Discord. As a result, agents launched an investigation, which allowed them to identify the individuals involved.

On Tuesday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 24, authorities said they searched two homes, during which time they seized a total of 44 electronic devices.

According to officials, 40-year-old Garry Alford, 32-year-old Johnathan Curtis, and 38-year-old Clifton Johnston were arrested and charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor. All three men were booked into the Warren County Jail, with Alford and Curtis’ bonds set at $50,000 and Johnston’s bond set at $75,000.

In addition to TBI’s Criminal Investigation Division and Drug Investigation Division, authorities said the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, the McMinnville Police Department, and Homeland Security Investigations assisted with the operation.
