3 injured in Conway-area crash, Horry County Fire Rescue says

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Drivers are asked to avoid the area of Myrtle Ridge Drive and Lakeside Crossing Drive in the Conway area as lanes of traffic are blocked due to a two-car crash, Horry County Fire Rescue said.

Three people were transported to the hospital with injuries and officials had to perform extrication operations, HCFR said.

Officials were dispatched to the scene at about 4:47 p.m. and the South Carolina Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash. The City of Conway Fire Department also assisted, HCFR said.
