28-year-old North Texas motorcyclist killed in collision with vehicle, officials say

A 28-year-old motorcyclist from Haltom City was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Watauga, officials said.

Andrew Paul McCollum died of blunt force injuries in the emergency room of a Fort Worth hospital around midnight Wednesday, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office website.

The accident took place in the 6700 block of Park Vista Boulevard.

Sgt. Danielle Bannick, a spokesperson for the Watauga Police Department, said the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. The driver of the other vehicle isn’t currently facing any charges.

Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon's cloud computing business, has confirmed further details of its European "sovereign cloud," which is designed to enable greater data residency across the region. The company said that the first AWS sovereign cloud region will be set up in the German state of Brandenburg, and will go live by the end of 2025.
