24-year-old man shot multiple times in Greece; two charged
A 24-year-old man was shot early Friday morning on Denise Road in Greece, according to police.
Greece police said the shooting occurred just after 2 a.m. near Adeline Park. The shooting victim was shot repeatedly in the upper body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, and underwent surgery. Officers said that he is expected to survive but did not disclose the extent of his injuries.
Two charged in Greece NY shooting
Two people have been charged in connection with the shooting, officers announced early Friday afternoon.
The Greece Police Department tweeted on X that Mark Lattimer of Greece and Kyle Ashford of Rochester, both 19, were charged with attempted second-degree murder and with first-degree robbery. "Additional charges are likely pending grand jury action," the tweet said. The two men were to be arraigned in Greece Town Court.

On 5.17.24, shortly after 2 a.m., @GreecePoliceNY responded to the 600 block of Denise Rd for the report of a person shot. Officers located a 24-year-old male Rochester resident shot several times in the upper body. The victim is currently undergoing surgery at Strong Hospital.
