Man, 23, stabbed to death in Bolingbrook

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. — A man is in custody after a fatal stabbing Tuesday evening in Bolingbrook.

Around 7:25 p.m., Bolingbrook Police Department officers were called to the 100 block of South Bolingbrook Drive on the report of a man stabbed.

According to police, they arrived and found a 23-year-old man, of Bolingbrook, who had been stabbed several times. He was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, where he later died.

The man’s identity has not yet been released.

Officers also found a 22-year-old man on the scene and took him into custody, police said.

Police said the two men knew each other and are believed to be the only people involved in the incident.
