22-year-old Conway man jailed in deadly January shooting

CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — Conway police have arrested a 22-year-old man in connection with a deadly shooting in January.

Justice Jhamere Bright was arrested Tuesday after fleeing from officers and resisting arrest, according to warrants provided to News13 by Conway police. He is facing multiple charges in the killing of Ty’ree Leonardo Graham, who died at a hospital after he was shot shortly before 9 p.m. on Jan. 10 in the 1700 block of Hemingway Street, police said.

The warrants say that Bright and another man conspired “to arm themselves with a 9mm handgun” and rob Graham. Bright is charged with accessory before the fact to a felony, armed robbery, resisting arrest and pointing and presenting firearms at a person.

The investigation was one of two homicide cases that police talked about at a news conference on Feb. 9.
