22/322 reopens in Dauphin County after extended closure

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – 22/322 in Dauphin County is back open after an extended closure caused by a downed utility pole.

According to PennDOT, PPL crews were working in the area when the pole broke, bringing the lines down on a PPL truck. No injuries have been reported at this time.

Power has been restored in the area.

Eastbound traffic opened around 6 p.m. and westbound reopened around 7 p.m.

PennDOT had originally listed the accident has occurring in Perry County, but later updated the location as Dauphin County.
