ABC reporter forgets to wear pants during live broadcast: 'When WFH goes wrong'
An ABC reporter turned heads when he appeared during a segment on “Good Morning America” wearing what appeared to be just boxers.
Speaking from his makeshift home office, Will Reeve virtually discussed with GMA host Amy Robach how pharmacies in Florida are using drones to deliver prescriptions to elderly customers in a retirement village to keep them safe during the pandemic.
Low on supplies? We’re regularly updating our list of retailers that are still selling household essentials, including toilet paper and hand sanitizer.
Although Reeve looked polished and professional from the waist up as he spoke, apparently he, like most of us working from home, opted to wear shorts instead of real pants while filming the segment.
Unfortunately, the camera ended up capturing a little more than planned, revealing his wardrobe secret to the popular morning show’s audience.
The relatable mistake quickly went viral on Twitter, with tons of eagle-eyed viewers taking notice.

Many people came to Reeve’s defense, arguing that he among us who has not taken a Zoom call in pajama bottoms should cast the first stone.
“This is all of us these days, honestly,” one user wrote. “It’s a weird time.”

“Pants are so March,” added another.

“Own that look, king. Pants days are over,” joked a third.

For what it’s worth, Reeve seems to be taking the whole thing in stride — he retweeted a screenshot of his pantsless self on Tuesday afternoon, writing, “I have ARRIVED.”

The reporter, who has since clarified that he was definitely wearing shorts and not boxers during the episode, later took to Twitter to poke fun at his predicament and explain how the incident went down.
“Trying to be efficient I got ready for a post-GMA workout a little too soon this morning,” he said in a typed iPhone note shared on the app. “The camera angle, along with friends, family and several hundred strangers on the social media made me rethink my morning routine.”
“Any sartorial tips from these people who are wearing a belt, trousers and shoes during their work video calls at home are most welcome,” he added. “Now, back to work. Wearing pants.”
