The 21-year-old, identified as Marcus Rivers, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The teen was taken to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound. He is currently in stable condition.

“What is very helpful for us is for the neighbors to check their home surveillance video specifically between the times of 1 p.m. and 1:30 pm today to see if there is anything out of the ordinary their home surveillance might of caught,” Assistant Deputy Chief Antonio Gilliam said.

Police said this was an isolated incident and there is no public threat.
