2 people injured, including child after house fire in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Fire and EMS Department said a child and an adult were injured after a house fire in Landover on Tuesday afternoon.

Crews said that at about 6:55 p.m., they were dispatched to the 1000 block of Carrington Avenue for a working fire.

Lithium-ion battery vacuum blamed for DC apartment fire

When first responders arrived at the scene, they saw smoke and fire showing from a two-story duplex.

Crews said the fire has since been put out.

The child and adult were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
