2 Mega Millions tickets worth $1 million sold in Florida

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Check your tickets. Two Mega Millions tickets worth $1 million were sold in Florida.

Wednesday’s winning numbers were 7, 11, 22, 29, 38 and Megaball 4.

Someone in New Jersey overcame the odds and won the $1.12 billion Mega Millions jackpot. The prize is the 8th largest in U.S. lottery history. The winner can take a cash payout of $537.5 million or through an annuity payment and then 29 annual payments.

Florida 7-Eleven sells Powerball ticket worth $1 million

In Florida, one winning ticket worth $1 million was sold at the Murphy USA on Mike Stewart Drive in Crawfordville. It was a quick pick ticket. The other winning ticket worth $1 million was sold at the Publix on Roosevelt Boulevard in Jacksonville.

The next big lottery drawing will be Wednesday for an estimated $865 million Powerball jackpot.

Mega Millions is played in 45 states plus Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Powerball also is played in those states as well as Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
