2 hurt in motorcycle collision along Hwy 178 near Weldon

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — At least one person is seriously injured after a crash involving a motorcycle Friday morning near Weldon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported just before 10:30 a.m. along Highway 178 just east of El Rancho Poco, according to CHP’s Traffic Incident Information Page. The crash involved a motorcycle with two people and another vehicle.

2 more insurance companies announce plans to leave California

The two motorcyclists were being treated by Kern County Fire at the scene. At least one person suffered major injuries.

Traffic was blocked in the area.
