2 displaced in overnight fire in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — DC Fire and EMS crews were at the scene of a fire at a home in Northeast D.C. overnight.

Just before midnight, DC Fire and EMS said they were at the scene in the 1700 block of Randolph St. NE. There, fire was showing from the roof of a two-story home.

In an update, crews said the fire was in the walls on the first floor.

The fire was extinguished by 12:15 a.m. Though there were no injuries, two people were displaced.
